چکیده

Palladium nanoparticles were evaluated as a potential chemical modifier for lead determination by high-resolution continuum source graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. Hydrophilic palladium nanocubes and nanospheres synthesised with sizes varying from 3 to 22 nm. Positive effects in terms of sensitivity thermal stability upon the use observed, especially using nm spherical-shaped. The mass influenced relative signal intensity analyte, although effectiveness appeared be suppressed an important extent presence matrix components leached extracts obtained petroleum wastes. optimised pyrolysis atomisation temperatures were, respectively, 800 °C 2300 °C, 200 ng nanoparticles. limit detection (4 µg L−1) precision (better than 18 %) considered satisfactory proposed analysis. method accuracy, recovery tests comparison results inductively coupled plasma spectrometry, was proven adequate enable Pb waste. successfully applied determine oily sludge drill cuttings concentrations ranged <13 354.4 L−1.

Molecule formation mechanisms of strontium mono fluoride in high-resolution continuum source electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry.

In this study, the molecule formation mechanisms of strontium mono fluoride used for the determination of fluorine in a high-resolution continuum source atomic absorption spectrophotometer was investigated. To distinguish between the gas-phase and the condensed-phase mechanisms, the analyte (F) and the molecule forming element (Sr) were injected on the solid sampling platform manually, as mixed...

Determination of lead and cadmium in water samples by cloud point extraction prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometry determination

Pb and Cd in water samples were determined by cloud point extraction (CPE) with sodiumdiethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) as the chelating agent and octylphenoxypolyethanl (Triton X-114) asthe surfactant prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) determination. The main factorsof affecting the extraction and detection processes were optimized. The preconcentration of 10 mL ofstandard soluti...

Utilization of electrodeposition on a graphite probe modified with palladium in determination of lead by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry in water and environmental samples

In this work a rapid and selective procedure for separation and preconcentration of lead(Pb2+) before determination by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS) wasdeveloped. The procedure is based on the electrodeposition on a graphite probe modified withpalladium. The lead was deposited from acetate buffer solution at pH 5.5. Various parameters, such as pH of solutions, deposition ...
